ஒரு திரைப்படம் ஓடிடியில் ரிலீஸ் ஆவதற்கு, தமிழ் ரசிகர்கள் இவ்வளவு காத்துக் கிடந்ததே இல்லை. அப்படி ரசிகர்களை வெகுவாகக் காக்க வைத்திருக்கிறது ‘மஞ்சுமெல் பாய்ஸ்’.
மலையாளத்தில் வெளியாகி தென்னிந்திய மொழிகளில் சக்கைப்போடு போட்ட திரைப்படம் ‘மஞ்சுமெல் பாய்ஸ்’. மிகக்குறைந்த பொருட்செலவில் உருவான போதிலும் 25௦ கோடிகள் வரை வசூல் செய்துள்ளது.
கொடைக்கானலில் நடைபெற்ற உண்மை சம்பவத்தை மையமாகக் கொண்டு இந்த திரைப்படம் உருவானது. தமிழ் ரசிகர்களுக்கு மிகவும் சவாலாக இருந்தது படத்தின் மொழி தான். காரணம் இன்னும் ‘மஞ்சுமெல் பாய்ஸ்’ தமிழில் டப்பிங் செய்யப்படவில்லை.

தற்போது அதற்கான காரணம் தெரியவந்துள்ளது. புகழ்பெற்ற டப்பிங் இயக்குனர் பி.ஆர் பாலா அளித்திருக்கும் பேட்டியில், ” சில தினங்களுக்கு முன்பு தான் மஞ்சுமெல் பாய்ஸ் டப்பிங் பற்றி என்னிடம் பேசினர்.
ஆடுஜீவிதம் படத்தில் பிஸியாக இருந்ததால் இந்த படம் தள்ளிப் போனது. இரவு பகலாக டப்பிங் வேலைகளை செய்து வருகிறோம். கூடிய சீக்கிரமே தமிழிலும் வெளியாகும்”, என்று கூறியுள்ளார்.
எனவே படம் இதுவரை ஓடிடியில் ரிலீஸ் ஆகாதற்கு, இது கூட ஒரு காரணமாக இருக்கலாம் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
